What the bag is made of decides everything else

LDPE / LLDPE
Soft, clear, cheap. The default for bread, produce, frozen food and general food service.

HDPE
Stiffer, higher strength at low thickness. Used for produce rolls and T-shirt bags.

PA / PE
Nylon layer gives puncture resistance and oxygen barrier. Standard for vacuum meat and cheese.

PET / AL / PE
Foil layer for light and oxygen barrier. Coffee, nuts, powdered drinks, long shelf life.

CPP
High-clarity, heat-resistant. Retort pouches and ready-meal applications.

Recycled content
PCR-LDPE available for non-direct-contact layers, with recycled-content documentation.
Compliance
Food contact is where cheap bags fail
A bag can look right and still be rejected by your retailer because the migration report is missing or the ink is not food-grade. We ship the documents with the order, not after a complaint.

Best unit cost at volume. Cylinder cost is charged once and stays yours.

Cheaper plates for simpler artwork and shorter runs.

No plate cost, ideal under 5,000 pcs or for multiple SKUs in one order.

Plain stock
Unprinted bags in standard sizes, often ex-stock with a much lower MOQ.
Artwork proof and a physical pre-production sample are approved before the run starts. Cylinder and plate costs are quoted separately and are one-off.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask about bags
What is the MOQ for printed bags?
5,000 pcs for pouches and vacuum bags, 10,000 pcs for flat and gusset bags. Plain stock in standard sizes can go lower — ask for the current list.
Do cylinder or plate costs apply?
Yes for printed bags. Rotogravure cylinders are quoted per colour and are a one-off cost that stays with you, so reorders carry no tooling charge. Digital printing avoids this entirely.
Can you match a bag we already buy?
Send a physical sample. We measure the structure, thickness and seal width, then confirm whether we can match it or need to adjust the lamination.
Are the bags food-contact certified?
Yes, with documents per order: FDA 21 CFR statement, EU 10/2011 Declaration of Compliance and REACH SVHC declaration. Migration testing is available on request at cost.
Do you supply compostable bags?
We can quote PLA or PBAT blends subject to availability, but lead times are longer and the price is roughly 2–3× conventional PE. We will tell you honestly if it is not worth it for your volume.
How are bags shipped?
Bags are light but bulky, so freight is charged on volume, not weight. A 20ft container of flat bags is typically 18–24 cbm. We quote FOB Shantou or Shenzhen and can calculate CIF on request.
